It’s rather rare that I do a PR related post, but this one benefits something that I truly care about AND is close to home.
Cupcake Camp OC is a bake sale/baking competition*/eating contest/fundraiser. Proceeds will go to EL POZO, a Peru-based organization that will help bring awareness to human trafficking. El Pozo promotes sexual rights of men and women in relationships based on equity, mutual pleasure, and responsibility.
The event will be held at the Atrium Hotel in Irvine, CA on Sunday August 1st 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Come and try some cupcakes made by both professional bakers and amateur bakers in the area — speaking of which, the application for the baking contest is still open. So if you want to donate to a good cause, bring your best batch. Application closes on the 29th.
