kimbap

kimbap, or, “korean norimaki”

inspired by this tweet by Oh Joy. left over pork kimchi stir fry + omelet + blanched bokchoy rolled in mixed grain rice and nori, drizzled with sesame oil and topped with a pinch of salt.

you would think that after my stint at a popular Japanese restaurant, I’d be able to make gorgeous sushi rolls… but i’m always here to prove you wrong.

kimbap

(proof that i have not improved much… i made this batch of kimbap last year with leftover bulgogi. note the crookedness of the insides. THE CROOKEDNESS!!!)
